Why we created NehemSpace
We watched social media drift further away from what it was originally supposed to do: help people connect. We wanted a place where people could keep up with friends and family, meet new people, find communities they care about, and feel genuinely connected.
Instead, too many platforms reward outrage, scams, misinformation, political fighting, explicit promotion, graphic shock material, and whatever keeps people angry or scrolling the longest.
NehemSpace is inspired by Nehemiah’s story of rebuilding what had been broken. Society has become too divided, isolated, and disconnected. This is our attempt to help rebuild some of that human connection.
People do not have to think the same way here. They can disagree, debate, joke, talk about difficult subjects, and live differently from one another. The line is behavior that harms other people: threats, harassment, exploitation, fraud, doxxing, and abuse.
Technology should serve relationships instead of exploiting attention.
